Rev. 1:1
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”
“shew unto his servants” - his book is only for the saved, the servants of Jesus Christ.
Rev. 1:7
" behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, A-men’.”
“they also which pierce him” - even those who scoff at him.
“and all kindreds” - all nations.
“shall wail because of him” - they shall cry tears of sorrow, for they now see the truth.
Rev.1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
The first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. He is not only the beginning and the ending, but everything in between. He is past, present and future.
Rev.1:9
"I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
John, is speaking to all the saints, not the saved only. “Your brother and companion in tribulation” -tribulation is life on earth. The great tribulation is life on earth when Jesus returns.
"in the kingdom” only the saints, John's brothers, will go to the kingdom. The rest of the saved go to heaven.
"patience of Jesus Christ " - here, means long suffering.
Rev.1:20
“The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.”
“The seven golden candlesticks” - are the seven churches of our Lord Jesus. Each of the saved is one of these churches, for each himself is a church.
The tabernacle of God is in each saved person. These candlesticks all bear a light in the dark world. The Lord will judge each church, each person's light. For each is to burn brightly. When Jesus comes, He will also judge the saved. All the saved will be judged.
Rev.2:5
"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repentant."
To “remove thy Candlestick” - means you will not be able to do His work in the great tribulation.
Rev.2:7 (See also Romans 10:17)
“He that hath an ear let him hear what the spirit saith unto to the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
The hearing ear, hears the voice of God, a private call. All are to have the hearing ear, but religion and self interest, keeps one from hearing. Only those with a personal relationship have a hearing ear. A personal relationship is not fellowship. Yet one must have a personal relationship before he can develop fellowship. A personal relationship, is one sided, it is about you. Fellowship is two sided, for you learn about God and His heart.
Rev.2:18-20
"And unto the angel of the Church in Thy-a-ti’-ra write: these things saith the son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patients, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Not withstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jez’-e-bel, which called herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.”
Whoredom, witchcraft and religious feasts, this is Jez’-e-bel. She also supported a horde of idolatrous priests of her own, Babylonians all. Is this not Rome, also? Jez’-e-bel calls herself a prophetess, only she knows the voice of the Lord. Jez’-e-bel and her children will go on as they are. Rome’s motto is “simper idem” - always the same. Yet a remnant will hear.
Beginning with Nero and ending with Diocletian, there was constant trouble until Constantine’s edict of toleration, his embracing of Christianity, in 313 A.D.. Constantine and his successors, down to Gratian, were given the title Pontifex Maximus (Pontiff). Constantine was the first pope. Pontifex Maximus means the “chief bridge builder,” the one who spans the gap between mortals and Satan. In Latin, this means Pontifex Maximus (Pontiff).
Rome’s doctrine is; the church is your teacher, the church is your mother. You must listen to her! She alone knows the true voice of God.
The heathen say we do not worship statues, pictures, crucifixes and other physical things – but those whom they represent. God says: You worship them, and not Me, for your eyes are on them, and not toward heaven where I am. If you close your eyes, the image is in your mind, in your heart. One’s prayers are not toward Me.
Sacraments, is a Babylonish term. For sacramentum is the Latin word for a mystery of a pagan religion.
Rev.2:21
"And I gave her space to repent of her fornication: and she repented not."
“fornication” - means union with the world.
Rev.2:22-24
"Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and heart: and I will give unto everyone of you according to your work. But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thy-a-ti’-ra, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.”
Most Romans are likening to the church at Thy-a-ti’-ra. Romanism is a combination of Christianity, Judaism and Heathenism. It is not a church so much as it is Babylon.
Rev.3:1-6
“And unto the angel of the church in Sar’-dis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sar’-dis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
Most Protestants are like Sardis.
Rev. 3:7-9
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These thinks saith he that is holy, he that is true, HE THAT HATH THE KEY OF DAVID, HE THAT OPENTH, AND NO MAN SHUTTETH; AND SHUTTETH, AND NO MAN OPENETH; I know thy works; behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”
To the church at Philadelphia; Philadelphia, lacked the energy of the early church, Ephesus. Yet it has three things: a little power, obedience to Christ, and they will not deny Christ. Philadelphians are unimportant in the eyes of the world. They are few in number, poor in property and low on the social scale. Their spiritual power is feeble compared to Pentecost. Yet the Lord has nothing but commendation for them for they love Christ and are faithful.
Dear Philadelphians:
Those who are Philadelphia, keep the word of God and do not deny His name. To this people, I open up My word, so they can understand, so they can see. To this people, there is no creed, only My word. There is no doctrine, only My word. There is no tradition, only My word. Man's opinions are not wanted, only My word. This is the Church of My apostles, My disciples.
There are no intercessors: Christian Science, Seventh day Adventist, Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Roman Catholics. Whatever you have is religion. None of these are any better, any worse than another. I favor none of these. I look at them all the same. For man's organizations, his religion's, are self-serving. They serve themselves first. Yet I look at every individual, these I measure, these I weigh. If I can, I push aside their religion, so I can receive them; receive them into the Church of Philadelphia.
Rev.3:10
“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
The rapturous say; this is when they will be removed from the earth, proceeding the great tribulation. Yet what this means is; God will protect and lead you through the tribulation.
Rev.3:11
“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”
“crown” - here does not mean salvation, but reward (service). The Lord rewards service. Eternal life is a gift, not a reward. One can lose his reward, one is to be mindful of that. If you turn back to sin or the ways of the world, you will lose your reward, “thy crown.” For then you can no longer be of service.
Rev.3:12
"Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”
Like Paul, who finished the race – those that hold fast in the service of God (overcometh the world), He will make into a “pillar” in the temple of God. All saints are stones. Yet a pillar exhibits permanency, strength and beauty. Like the pillars built in Solomon’s temple.
Rev.3:14-22
“And unto the angel of the church of the La-od-i-ce’-ans and write; These things saith the A-men’, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
Those in the church of La-od-i-ce’-a are the worst of all! Even worse than the Romans. They claim they are spiritual, but yet they are “lukewarm.” They are proud, blind and pretentious. They claim gifts they do not have.
They are the “name it and claim it” society.
They are rich and they have gotten rich, with their churches and ministries.
They count their numbers, the wealth and importance of their membership.
They have great (worldly) churches, ministries and universities.
They have worldly influence.
They try to control legislation with political groups like the “Christian Coalition.” They seek to reform the world using their power. They are liars and blasphemers of the Lord.
They are like the Romans, teachers of pagan evolution and science, from their pulpits.
They are like the Romans, none are born again.
They are like the Romans, they teach the Bible their way. It is slanted toward their doctrine and logic. Most television evangelists today are likened unto the church of La-od-i-ce’-a.
Rev.3:20
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
One must open the door, not Christ. The offer is to everyone, but only those of Christ’s nature, will respond.
“sup” - means commune.
Rev. 2, 3
The letters to the seven churches; these letters represent all believers. There are indeed seven classes of believers. Each believer, himself is a church, where he goes, so goes his church. If he is right with Christ, there goes the church of Christ.
Religion, tries to make these churches into buildings or assemblies. Yet they are individuals. Jesus’ church is alive in the heart of every believer.
Rev.4:4
“And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.”
The "four" are the apostles of the four gospels: Mark, John, Luke and Matthew.
The twenty are these prophets: Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Elijah, Obadiah, Joel, Jonah, Amos, Hosea, Isaiah, Micah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Habakkuk, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi.
Rev.4:5
“And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”
Some believe these "seven lamps" to be the seven churches. That is not true. "Candlesticks" are the churches. These are "seven lamps of fire", the Holy Spirit. This is complete discernment of all matters and affairs in judgment. The Spirit of God is in everyone.
The seven spirits are: wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear (of Jehovah’s judgement) and grace (favor – protection).
Rev.4:6-7
“And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.”
“beasts” - in the Greek means living creatures. These living creatures represent intelligent life on earth.
“calf” - in the Greek means cattle. These are not angles as some teach, but they do represent intelligent life. Their eyes are always on God – their Creator.
Fishes and plants, are not considered intelligent life. Porpoises (whales) are mammals, not fishes.
Rev.6:2
“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”
The "white horse" and rider is Christ. He has come to judge. The period of grace is over.
“conquering and conquer” - means complete and final. The Lord has turned against the earth. It is quite a departure from grace and free will.
Rev.6:4
“And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”
The red horse and rider is Satan. God has given him the power and authority to kill and destroy and take peace from the earth.
Rev. 6:5-6
“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”
The horse and rider on the "black horse" is the antichrist. The pope…dressed in black, not white, his true colour. The world will finally see him as he really is.
The “pair of balances” - is the weights separating the rich from the poor. He controls the balances.
The measure of wheat and barley indicate that there will be world-wide famine.
That “the oil and the wine” - be spared indicates that the rich will prosper.
(See also James 5:1-6)
Rev.6:8
“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And the power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”
This is the fourth seal, death, spiritual death.
“Hell followed with him.” - those that die a spiritual death will go to hell.
God has given permission for Satan to take a fourth of the earth. Some will die by the sword; some by the famine, and some by the beasts who have been in an uprise. The animals now have their revenge, for the way man has treated them. The animals are part of God’s judgment. The animals of the earth will become like beasts.
Rev.6:9-11
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the alter the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”
These are the ones who have been persecuted for Christ. They wait to be avenged. They are important. God consoles them with a white robe of righteousness. They need to rest a little while longer. For they still have brothers and sisters that will be persecuted by the antichrist, that also will “hold fast” for God. These will join the others in heaven before they all are avenged.
Rev.6:12
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;”
The people of the earth, in terror, believe the end has come. They run and hide from judgement. Repentance does no good. Many die as the earth feels God’s wrath. (See also Rev.6:13-17)
In the seventh chapter of Revelation, many things occur. God’s four angels, have been placed to
hold back the winds of the earth. A fifth angel descends with the seal of the living God.
Rev.7:3
“Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”
The 144,000 were sealed, 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes. These will go into the great tribulation. This is the scattered remnant that God has been preparing and nurturing. If the number of the children of Israel be, as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that shall be saved.
Rev.7:9
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in there hands;”
This great multitude from the four corners of the earth are the “saved.” They come out of the great tribulation, one by one, as is there time. It mattered not their nationality, colour or spiritual place. They have all washed their robes with the blood of the Lamb. Only God knows their number.
“which no man could number” - it is a great multitude.
There is no rapture of the church. This is the church. All must go into the great tribulation. All must die their physical death, as they come out of the great tribulation.
The seventh seal. The seventh seal is opened.
Seven angels were given seven trumpets.
Seven represents the seven spirits of God: His deity, His wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and fear. Whenever you see seven in scripture, it means the seven spirits of God are in that act.
Rev.8:7
“The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.”
One third of the earth is burned. The earth will know that this is from the hand of God, in three parts; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Rev.8:8-9
“And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.”
Again, one third of the sea creatures and one third of the earths shipping will be destroyed.
(See also Isaiah 26:9)
Rev.8:10-11
“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.”
One third of man’s drinking water, the inland waters, became poison and many died.
"Wormwood" - is a bitter plant. Moses used it to show idolatry. “Least there should be among you man, or woman or family or tribes whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the God’s of these nations; least there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood.” (Deuteronomy 29:18)
Rev.8:12
“And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.”
When the sun shines, one third of it is missing. When the stars and moon shine, one third of them are missing. The days are one third shorter. The nights are one third shorter. What happened to one third? How can that be? Science will have no explanation.
Rev.8:13
“And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!”
There is a pause after the fourth trumpet. An angel flies through heaven announcing that the worst is yet to come, with the sounding of the next three trumpets. “Woe, woe, woe” there are three woes to come.
Jesus said: to those that belong to Him-“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)
Those who are saved, going into the great tribulation should remember these words, and their faith.
Rev.9:1
“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.”
This "pit" is hell, the abyss. All of the unsaved who have died have been in Hades awaiting their fate, which is hell.
Rev.9:2
“And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.”
Hell was opened by God’s angel (Star).
Rev.9:3-4
“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto then was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.”
These creatures come from Hell. Locusts normally eat the green, the grass and trees. These locusts will not. They were also ordered to leave alone God’s elect, the 144,000, who have God’s seal on their foreheads.
Rev.9:5-6
“And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.”
These locusts are not to kill but torment for 5 months. (5 months is the normal lifespan of locusts) All but the 144,000 will be tormented. Saved or unsaved, they must face judgement. The world will be so frightened, so tormented, that many will want to die. Yet it is not their time to die. All attempts at suicide will fail; men will jump from buildings and not die.
Rev.9:11
“And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is A-bad’-don, but in the Greek tongue hath his name A-pol’-ly-on.”
These locust had a king over them. He was not Satan, but one of his angels.
A-bad-‘don - means death.
A-pol’-ly-on - means destroyer.
Rev.9:12
“One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.”
Of the last three trumpets, two remain.
Rev. 9:14
“Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Eu-phra’-tes.”
These four angels are Satan’s angels. They have been held in the river Eu-phra’-tes where Babylon once stood.
Rev.9:15
“And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.”
These four angels were released to do their work. These are Satan’s angels, yet it is God who released them. Being “prepared for an hour, a day, a month, a year” means that they were prepared in God’s time. They are to slay one third of the worlds remaining population. (Previously in Rev.6, one fourth was taken.)
Rev.9:16
“And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.”
This is Satan’s army. There are two hundred million of them. They can kill. Satan can kill.
Rev.9:20-21
“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
Those not yet slain have not repented. They still have not turned away. They do what they have been doing. They still worship devils. Whether it be open worship of Satan or the hidden worship of Satan through churches, ministries and religions. Man, will not give up his religion. They still worship idols. This can be Buddha, or it can be money, wealth and possessions.
Rev.10:1-3
“And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: and he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.”
The seventh angel is Christ Himself.
The "rainbow" represents God’s covenant with the earth, that He would never send again, a universal deluge to destroy all the inhabitants of the world. (See also Genesis 9:8-17)
The "little book" is God’s word regarding the great tribulation.
Christ, for the first time since His Ascension,(Acts l:9) has set His feet on the earth. His right foot is upon the sea and His left foot on the earth. He is King of all the earth.
“Seven thunders uttered their voices” – these are the seven spirits of God.
Rev.10:10
“And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.”
God’s word is always sweet, yet the great tribulation turns ones stomach. John was given the word of God, about the great tribulation.
Rev.10:11
“And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”
Since John was old and near his physical death, his writings were to be the prophecy, for many, for almost 2000 years.
The first six judgments have ended, yet even now, the world still has not turned away from their idolatry and lust. God now proceeds to the final judgement.
Rev.11:1
“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.”
John was asked to consider only those born again. Those whose body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and the altar of God.
Rev.11:2
“But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”
“the court” - is those not in the kingdom. They are in heaven, “the court” yet outside the temple, the kingdom.
John is not to consider those not born again. Only those born again are disciples, Christians. The others are gentiles.
The holy city, Jerusalem, will be there yet for 3½ more years.
Rev.11:3-4
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.”
There will still be other witnesses, as the 144,000 are still on the earth.
Yet these two witnesses will be singled out. They have special power from God. They are two “candlesticks” (Jesus church) standing before God. (serving).
Rev.11:5-6
“And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.”
These two witnesses shall have special power, for their testimony of God’s truth will promote rage against them. Not just from the unsaved, but also the saved. Not only will they tell men of their wickedness and sins, they will speak out against their religions, their way of life. The world will hate all My witnesses, yet these two; they will hate most of all. These two witnesses will be selected from My 144,000. The two witnesses will have no individual identity, they will be called witnesses.
Rev.11:7
“And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.”
When God is through using them, they will lose their power and the beast (Satan) will kill them.
Rev.11:8
“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”
The great city is Jerusalem, “Sodom and Egypt.” God calls Jerusalem, “Sodom and Egypt.” He also at times refers to it as the holy city. Yet this is more a point of reference, for the city of Jerusalem is not a holy place just as Israel is not a holy land. Today no place on earth is recognized as a holy place.
Rev.11:9
“And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.”
All people, all nations, the saved and unsaved will ridicule the bodies 3½ days. They will not be buried.
The world hates these witnesses, for their testimony against what was held dear.
Rev.11:10
“And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.”
The world will rejoice over the death and silence of these two witnesses. These two witnesses tormented the earth with God’s truth. God’s other witnesses remain. Yet their words only convict, not torment.
Rev.11:11-12
“And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.”
After 3 ½ days, God put His spirit back into these two witnesses and they awoke. They ascended into heaven, much as Jesus did – body, soul and spirit. All who saw them were in great fear.
Rev.11:13-14
“And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.”
A great earthquake struck Jerusalem. One tenth of the city was destroyed and seven thousand lost their lives. All the rest were frightened and prayed to God. Yet even now, they still were in their religions.
The six trumpets have blown, the seventh will come quickly.
Rev.11:15
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, AND OF HIS CHRIST; AND HE SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER.”
The seventh trumpet has sounded. God makes His claim; that He and His Son will soon be King of the earth, forever more.
Rev.11:18
“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”
The nations of the world became angry. The religions of the world became angry. They did not want to accept God’s will. Yet, their time of wrath has come.
All the dead will be judged. Those not born again are considered dead.
Yet the Lord will reward His servants, those born again, those that fear His name; the righteous.
He will destroy those that have destroyed the earth. The destroyers are those that have been following Satan, both knowingly and unknowingly, for they have not wanted to see the truth; the saved, the unsaved. The religious have been destroying the earth by living in lies. They have followed their self-interest, their emotions. Their ways, will be destroyed by My judgement.
Rev.12:1-2
“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.”
This woman represents the nation Israel. She comes from above. God has given her “the sun, and the moon.” He has blessed her. The crowns of stars upon her head are the twelve tribes of Israel. The child she carries is the Christ, the Savior. Israel did not have an easy birth. She labored and was in much pain. Many did not want this birth, many were against it. They did not want a Savior, some wanted only a king.
The Romans teach that this woman is Mary. They have made her into a goddess, a queen.
Through the generations, this satanic teaching has ruined many, have kept many from finding the kingdom.
All the saved can be born again. Satan knows this and spends his time placing wedges between people and My deity. If one does not seek the truth, the wedges will remain. For I am truth. When you seek the truth, you will find Me. I am ready to remove the wedges, but can only do so when invited.
Many in their despair call out for Me – yet they must call out for the truth. For those that do not, their lives remain a lie. I cannot coexist with lies. I supply grace to those that cry out – yet I cannot supply Myself, until one wants the truth. Many successful people appear to have everything, yet their lives are a lie, a fable.
Rev.12:3
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.”
The “red dragon” who came down from above is Satan.
A dragon is a symbol of evil. Satan is always red, for the blood he has spilled.
The “seven heads” are the seven religions: Buddhist, Mormon, Judaism, Catholicism, Non-Denomination, Protestant and Muslin.
The “seven crowns” say that Satan is the king of the seven religions.
The “ten horns” are the weapons that Satan uses against God’s Ten Commandments.
Satan uses religion to fight God.
Rev.12:4
“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.”
Satan took with him one third of the angels in heaven. Satan stood before Israel, waiting for the birth of the Christ, so that he might devour Him as soon as He was born.
Rev. 12:5
“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”
In the millennium, Jesus will rule all nations “ with a rod of iron.” Today, the world governments are ruled by Satan. In the millennium, there will be only one government – Jesus.
This man child had the protection of God. Satan could not touch Him.
Rev.12:6
“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.”
The woman, the nation of Israel is now a remnant; only 144,000 were sealed by God. God is protecting her and caring for her, especially during the great tribulation, the last 3 ½ years.
Rev.12:7-8
“And there was war in heaven: Mi’-cha-el and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.”
Satan, did not prevail in this battle. He and his angels no longer have a place in heaven.
Rev.12:9
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
The Devil and his angels were cast out into the world.
Rev.12:10
“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”
“the accuser” - of course is Satan. He was cast down. He continues to accuse the saved before God, always trying to drive a wedge. Satan sees everything on earth and still has God’s ear.
Satan is "the accuser of our brethren." He is accusing the believers before God, at His throne. He brings forth half truths and reminds God of our unworthiness; all designed to create doubt and force God to bring further and more difficult trials to our lives. Unlike the Book of Job: where God boasted to Satan, about Job; to force Satan into challenge, about Job’s worthiness. (See also Job 1:8)
Rev.12:13
“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.”
Satan persecuted Israel. He could not touch the child, but he could the woman. He has kept many from the kingdom.
Rev.12:14
“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”
Through it all, God watched over Israel. He took only a remnant to a place of safety.
Rev.12:17
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
Satan was very angry, that he could not touch the elect of Israel, the 144,000. Yet, he went after the saved from Israel, those that know Jesus as their Savior. They are going through the great tribulation without the seal of God. They have chosen to live their lives without Jesus. For they have chosen religion, their own ways over the commands of God. They know the Savior, but they have not listened to Him.
The remainder, those that do not know Jesus, have been long cast out; they continue to follow their religion, their traditions. They do not belong to God.
The present state of Israel, is rebuilding the temple. The Bible teachers say: See – this is God’s prophecy! The temple must be rebuilt before the second coming of Christ! Yet God honours no temple built by hands. The only temple that now matters is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is built by God.
This pagan building, under construction, has nothing to do with the second coming of Christ. When it is completed, Jesus will not be worshipped there. Where He is not welcomed, God the Father is not welcomed. Just as Jesus is not welcomed in the hearts of the pagan Israelites, neither is God the Father.
Rev. 13:1
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”
The “beast” is the antichrist. He rose out of the sea. He comes from below, not above. His birth is likening to a man’s through water. He has “seven heads” – six current divisions of land: Eurasia, North America, South America, Australia, Africa and Antarctica. The seventh is from the past, the Roman Empire.
The beast has “ten horns.” The weapons he will use to kill the worlds population are: idolatry, lust, murder/suicide, anger, fear, hatred, pride, envy, slander and stealing.
The “ten crowns” represents his kingship over the “ten horns.”
Rev.13:2
“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
"The beast" has in him, the spirit of the three previous great world empires: Lion (Babylon), Bear (Media-Persia), panther/leopard (Greco-Macedonia).
Rev.13:3
“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
The world thought the Roman Empire was dead. It now returns. The world is amazed.
Rev.13:4
“And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”
The world now openly worships Satan. They worship the antichrist. They have great fear and awe.
God has given the world over to Satan. The world now believes there is no one powerful enough to defeat Satan and his pawn, the antichrist.
Rev.13:7
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
The world, has always embraced Satan. God now gives the world over to him. Yet, he comes to kill the world.
There are now many saints in the world, as many have been converted. These are lambs, which have left their religions, and found their true faith. Yet God will not protect them. He has given Satan authority over them.
Rev.13:8
“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
The “foundation of the world” refers to the beginning. It was written, from the beginning, that the Lamb would come, and be slain, so that His people would be saved.
Everyone on earth shall openly worship Satan and the antichrist. Except for those sanctified before birth, the saved.
The recently converted from religion, have weak faith. For their foundation in faith was in their religion, not in Jesus.
Great faith had to come before the great tribulation, before judgement. Nonetheless, even without grace, most hold fast. Only the elect, the 144,000, have strong faith.
Everyone shall worship him. Yet, only those written in the Lamb’s book of life will be saved.
Rev.13:11
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
The second "beast" is the antichrist’s prophet; the world system of government, business, economics and education. He comes out of the earth, for he controls the earth. He looks “like a lamb,” but he is a goat. Yet, he speaks like his father, Satan. He totally embraces the antichrist.
Rev.13:13
“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,”
Using technology, signs and wonders, many will believe that this is the return of Christ.
Rev.13:16-17
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
All must receive the mark of Satan. Without it, one cannot live in the world’s system.
Rev.13:18
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
The “beast” the antichrist, is a man with Satan’s number 666. This is wisdom from God.
Rev.14:1-3
“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Si’-on, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.”
The 144,000 are coming through the great tribulation. These are servants of God, who have seen the horror of the great tribulation and the judgement of God. They sing the song of heaven, which no other can learn. They were purchased from the earth by God for this purpose.
Rev.14:4
“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.”
This is the Bible's way of saying that these men and women are without sin, as most know it. They are clean and pure.
These 144,000 are both men and women.
“ were not defiled with women” – these have been kept clean not following the lusts of their bodies. Most have not been married and their temptation has been great. There has been no new marriages, no offspring by God’s elect, during the great tribulation.
“for they are virgins” - they are like virgins, clean and pure.
“being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb” - these are the firstfruits of the millennium.
God has laid aside and nurtured His remnant.
The earth’s calendars show the new millennium is in just a few years. Do not be taken in by your calendar, for this is not God’s millennium timing. It is yet to come.
Rev.14:6-7
“And I saw anther angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
It should be noted, that during this time, most of the world is worshipping the beast (antichrist) and Satan.
This angel, this messenger, of God, speaks to the whole world. He brings forth a gospel message of truth. Not a warning of doom. He is largely ignored, yet the world, one last time, has heard the truth.
Rev.14:8
“And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
Babylon, the Babylonian system, has always been Satan’s. This reference to Babylon is reference to Satan. This prophecy foretells the falling of Satan. To drink of Babylon’s wine, is to drink the cup of idolatry. It will bring the wrath of God.
Rev.14:9-11
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”
God says, Satan shall fall, but also his worshipers. Those who receive Satan’s mark, shall be treated the same as Satan. Man can no longer try and be neutral. He must choose. Satan will make him choose. Even God followers, must choose. Those not receiving Satan’s mark will be sought after, tortured and killed. God expects His saints, His followers, His elect, to go through martyrdom, if necessary, for His sake. Those that receive Satans mark have deliberately chosen Satan over Christ.
“he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone” - there is eternal punishment in hell for those that receive Satan’s mark.
When the tribulation comes, the time of grace will be over. It will be a time of faith, for only those with faith will survive. Now is a time of grace – once saved always saved. Yet in the time of judgement, if one deliberately chooses Satan, he will share Satan’s fate. The saved, even God’s elect, will lose their place in heaven or the kingdom, for to succumb to one's fears will bring eternal damnation.
Those that worship the beast, those that receive his mark, will become his; his property. Satan will claim the weak; the weak of faith. It will no longer matter that many believe Jesus is their Savior; for with the worship of the beast they will have renounced their place with God.
Religion teaches the rapture.
So many of their members are tucked away in this lie; self-assured, that they will be removed from the tribulation. Yet, most, because their faith is in their church, in their religion and not Christ, will turn to the beast. Only those whose faith is in Christ will survive.
Religions lies are Satan’s lies.
The first pope was Constantine, not Peter. The father of religion is Satan, not God. God does not need religion, but Satan does.
The religions of the world, who do not believe in Jesus, have Satan’s help in keeping them from the truth. One may say I believe in God, He helps me, I do not need to consider Jesus. Yet, who is helping him? Would God the Father keep one from His son, Jesus, or would Satan?
The bride of Christ is Israel, not the church. The church, today, is religion. Would Jesus take religion as His bride?
Yet, the tribe of Israel is scattered throughout religion. Jesus’ church is alive in the heart of every believer. Jesus’ bride must be made ready, by going through the tribulation. Only then, will she be ready to take her place.
The Rapturist teaches a terrible lie.
Rev.14:12
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
All of those who refuse Satan’s mark are called saints. God will not forget what they have done, for His sake.
Rev.14:13
“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”
In these days of the antichrist, death is better than life. God’s rest is only obtainable through death.
“and (the beast) shall wear out the saints of the most high” (Daniel 7:25)
Rev.14:14
“And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon a cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.”
This is the Lord Jesus who has come with His sickle. (See John 5:22) This is not for the reaping of the saints, but for the sinners.
Rev.14:15-16
“And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.”
The angel came from the temple of God and announces to Jesus, that the time for reaping is now.
“the harvest of the earth is ripe” – the world, has made its choice and is in full idolatry.
(See also Joel 3:13)
Rev. 14:18-19
“And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.”
Christ is the true vine. Not the vine of the earth, for that is Satan.
Moses said: “For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:” (Deuteronomy 32:32)
Rev.14:20
“And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.”
A river of human blood. A winepress squeezes out the last drop from each grape. So it is with God’s winepress. The winepress of God crushes the bodies (grapes) of Satan’s followers, and there flowed a river of human blood. A “horse bridle” measures about 4 feet high, “1600 furlongs” is 200 miles. Four feet of human blood for 200 miles.
Rev.15:1-2
“And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.”
There are seven last wraths to come for those who worship the beast.
"the sea of glass” - is purity.
The" fire" that does not burn is God (the burning bush).
Those that have gotten victory over the beast are the martyrs. They are being honoured by God.
Rev.15:3
“And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.”
These are songs of praise to God our Father.
“the song of Moses” - stands for the power of Jehovah.
Remember; the mighty work of God with Pharaoh, and the parting of the Red Sea!
“the song of the Lamb” - is the song of His life: His Birth, Life, Death and Resurrection. The Song of Salvation.
Rev.15:7
“And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.”
The seven vials contain the seven plagues of God, filled with His wrath.
Rev. 15:8
“And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”
Heaven waited for the plagues to be fulfilled. All stopped.
Rev.16:1-2
“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.”
There is no mercy. All those who have given themselves over to the beast now taste real hell on earth.
Rev.16:3
“And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.”
The sea covers much of the world. The entire sea becomes blood, became dead. All creatures died who lived in the sea. A dead man's blood has no life, so it is with the sea.
Rev.16:4-7
“And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.”
All the fresh waters, all the inland waters, the rivers and the lakes became blood. All creatures in these waters died. This blood has now been given to the world to drink for the blood shed of the saints and prophets.
Rev: 16:8-9
“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.”
The beast, Satan, has no power to stop these plagues. There is no refuge from this heat. Even now, man will not repent (turn) to praise God. For they hate Him more than ever, for what He does.
Rev.16:10-11
“And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.”
The kingdom of the beast was in full darkness. His subjects were in terrible pain, cursing God. For they know there is a God, and He is the one who has brought this upon them. Yet, they still do not turn. Their hearts are hard. The beast is powerless to stop the hand of God.
Rev. 16:12
“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Eu-phra’- tes; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.”
The great river Eu-phra’-tes, which ran through old Babylon, will be dried up. The river is about 1800 miles long and protects Palestine from the East. The drying up of the Eu-phra’-tes opens the way for military invasion, from the East.
Rev. 16:13-14 & 16
“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Ar-ma-ged’-don.”
These evil spirits go to the king's, the armies of the world to enchant them with their power and tricks. So that they might be gathered for the great battle ahead.
Rev. 16:17-19
“And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since man were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.”
The "great city" is Jerusalem, which is now divided in three parts: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Yet, the many Jews there, only worship and recognize one part, the Father.
They have gathered from round the world, to be with their traditions and religion.
They still refuse to accept Jesus as their judge, their Savior. So, they have no Savior. Babylon is remembered by God, and He gives her the cup of His wrath.
Rev.16:20
“And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.”
The face of the earth was changed by the massive earthquake.
Rev.16:21
“And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.”
A talent is about 75 pounds. Each hailstone weighed 75 pounds. Men still cursed God.
Rev.17:1
“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:”
The great whore is the queen of religion, the Roman Church.
“sitteth upon many waters” – she is every where.
Rev.17:2
“With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”
The kings, the nations of the world, have had many business and political dealings with her. They recognize the power she has over many people. This gives her a place of honour with most.
Many inhabitants have drunk from her cup and are under her spell. Her power is great over them.
Many have given their lives and money – their children’s lives, to her treasure chest and vanity.
She has stolen the kingdom from so very many, yet most have let her.
Rev.17:3
“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”
The woman is the Roman Church, saddling the pope, the antichrist. At this point, the Roman Church is mistress, over the pope, the antichrist. The bit is in his mouth, and she guides him as she pleases.
Rev.17:4
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:”
She makes herself out as quite beautiful and successful. This attracts many. Yet “the golden cup” she offers is sin.
To drink from her cup, is to drink her wine, and one becomes drunk (blind) from the true ways of God.
My favorite colours are represented by the skin colour of the people of the world. They are brown, white, black, yellow and red. (not scarlet) Scarlet red and purple are the colours of the Roman Empire and the Roman Church. (See also Mark 15:16-17&20)
Rev.17:5
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
She is Babylon incarnate.
She is the spirit of Babylon.
She is the mother of all “Christian” religions.
Rev.17:6
“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”
Nero killed many saints. Many who belonged to Jesus were martyr. This blood is on the hands of the Roman Church. God does not forget.
Constaine, the first pope, brought Christianity into full apostasy, with this blood on his hands. All of this occurred before God laid aside the 144,000.
“admiration” - here means wonderment.
Rev.17:7
“And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.”
Why were you in wonderment? I will set the record straight.
Rev.17:8
“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the breast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
The beast, the antichrist, has come from below. He brings with him sin and perdition.
All of those that do not belong to God will be taken in. They will believe in him.
Those belonging to God will not be fooled. Yet, many with weak faith will fall with him.
Rev.17:9
“And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”
She sits on the seven hills of Rome.
Rev.17:10
“And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.”
Of all the popes, there are seven who will come from below. There is one yet to come. He must continue for a short time. Then will come the antichrist.
Rev.17:11
“And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eight, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”
The beast is the final king to come. Yet, his spirit is in the other seven. He will go into perdition (damnation).
Rev.17:12
“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.”
These kings are ten nations, the strongest nations that will seek to ally with the beast. Yet this will last but one hour, as the beast allows them power with him. Yet, after one hour, the beast will take control of these kings, these nations.
“which have received no kingdom as yet” - these kings, these nations, had not yet come; when John wrote this prophecy.
The 10 horns are the 10 nations which the beast absorbs. These beasts are the same four metals described in King Nebuchannezzar’s dream. (Daniel 2:31-45)
Rev.17:13
“These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.”
These kings are all like-minded. They are all the same. They recognized that the power and strength of the beast is so great, that they join him, rather than fight him.
Rev. 17:14
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
The beast and his kings, shall make war with Jesus. Yet Jesus, and His, shall prevail.
Rev.17:15
“And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”
The "whore" is many different people, different nations and different nationalities. They are like the waters, as they cover the earth.
Rev. 17:16
“And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.”
The 10 kings, will "hate the whore", the Roman religion. They will discredit her.
Make her “naked” means: do away with all her adornments, taking away her holiness.
“eat her flesh” – do away with her.
“burn her with fire” – do away with her remains, so she remains dead.
Rev.17:17
“For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”
These ten kings, which gave their kingdoms to the beast, are within God’s plan.
Rev.17:18
“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”
The whore is Babylon. She is the Roman Church. She is one in the same, as the spirit of Babylon is in her. She had power over the kings of the earth, because of the spell she has over people.
Rev.18:1-2
“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
God’s messenger announces that the Roman religion has fallen. She is now seen as she has been. She has become the resting place for many demons.
Bird "cage" – indicates a place of roosting. Many demons have wings like birds.
Rev.18:3
“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.”
All the nations of the earth have honoured her and joined in her lusts and fornications. They are included in God’s wrath toward her. Many businesses, prospered through their association with her.
Rev.18:4
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Even at her end, there are still some of the Lord’s lambs who have not yet left her. The Lord is still calling them out; otherwise they will share in her fate.
Rev.18:5
“For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.”
God has not forgotten her great sins, for she has lead many astray with her false doctrine and idolatry.
Rev.18:6
“Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.”
Give her twice what she has earned, for her sins.
Rev. 18:7
“How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.”
She has lived like a queen, taking from her subjects all that she could.
“no widow and shall see no sorrow” – she believed herself above hard times. Widows have hard times and much sorrow.
Rev.18:8
“Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.”
Her destruction will come in one day. God will judge her severely for her sins.
Rev. 18:9
“And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,”
Her allies will be sad when they see the burning of Vatican City, her palace.
Rev.18:10
“Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.”
The world, which honoured her, will stand back from her judgement in fear, crying out for her to the end.
Rev.18:11
“And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:”
The businesses that prospered because of her now are in poverty.
Rev.18:14
“And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.”
The merchants had plans and dreams of more prosperity, because of the queen. These have all now been shattered forever. There will not be another like the queen.
Rev.18:15
“The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,”
The merchants are afraid for themselves, as they have witnessed her destruction.
Rev.18:16-18
“And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches, is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying ,What city is like unto this great city!”
Even the shipping industry is affected by her demise. For they bring forth much of the imports and exports. Billions of trinkets are sold in her name. They too cry in their sorrow and unbelief as they see the burning of the Vatican and her churches.
Rev.18:19
“And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.”
They mourn over her destruction for it happened only in one hour! Gone are her traditions, artifacts, statues and treasurers. Gone is her influence and buying power. Gone is her doctrine and rituals. Her magic is dead.
Rev.18:20
“Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.”
Gone is the queen of apostasy. Gone is Satan’s creation.
Heaven, and all the apostles and prophets, rejoice for God has avenged many.
Rev.18:21
“And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.”
Vatican City and the Roman religion is no more. As the city burned, every church, every building, and every statue throughout the world, burned with it. Not one thing remained as evidence that she ever was.
All the adornments are gone. All the rosaries are gone. All the statues are gone. All over the world, the robes and clothing have been burned off their priests. All the crucifixes and metals throughout the world have been melted. All within one hour. Her stink and pollution are gone forever. It’s as if she never was.
Rev.18:22
“And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;”
Gone are those that sang and played her praise, no more chanting. Gone are all craftsmen, who made her adornments and tools of worship.
Rev.18:23
“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
Her candlestick is out. The voice of the bridegroom and the bride, are the truths that she spoke, for there was some truth in her. Only the merchants grieve at her loss. She had charmed and deceived the nations of the world with her mystic and magical ways.
Rev.18:24
“And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”
The blood of many, were on her hands and the hands of her subjects. (They are accountable). She deceived many, with her idolatry, lies and influence. In the early days of her kingdom, prophets spoke out against her and were killed. Those saints, that would not join her, were killed. This blood cannot be forgotten, and has carried forward through the generations and her membership. To be a member, means you accept her past, present and future. You share in these things.
Rev.19:1-6
“And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Al-le-lu’-ia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Al-le-lu’-ia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God that sat on the throne, saying, A-men’; Al-le-lu’-ia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Al-le-lu’-ia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”
The last of religion is dead. The burning of Babylon, the Vatican, "the great whore" is seen as the smoke from the fire rises up. She is forever dead.
All heaven rejoices for the Lord has brought judgement and avenged His prophets and saints.
Rev.19:7
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
The false bride is dead, religion. It is now time for Christ to accept his true bride, His church. Christ could not accept His bride – Christianity, until the false church who called itself Christianity, was dead. True Christianity, His church, His saints, have made themselves ready by their obedience and faithfulness. All saints, everywhere, are included in this heavenly marriage; the saints in heaven who are now called “holy” and the ones on the earth who came through the great tribulation.
Rev.19:8
“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
Christianity, the Lord's church, is clean and pure because of the righteousness of the saints. They were righteous because they held fast and were obedient to God.
Rev.19:9
“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God,”
The marriage supper is for the bridegroom and the bride. All the saints, both in heaven (not angels) and on earth, are called to this supper. It is here, that the last earthly saints, the 144,000 are called home. They are no longer needed on earth. There is no rapture. The Lord induces them to a deep sleep. They lie down and sleep. They leave this earthly life; they die.
Rev.19:10
“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
John, once again, wanted to worship the angel, the messenger, of the Lord. He was so taken with the powerful vision that he had seen and heard. Yet, we are not to worship a fellow servant of the Lord, just because he brings the Lord’s testimony. We are to only worship God.
Rev.19:11-13
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.”
This is the word of God, the truth of God. He is come to do away with all the liars.
Religion is dead, but the beast and his prophet remain, so do his kings and their armies.
Rev. 19:14
“And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white hoses, clothed in fine line, white and clean.”
These armies are angels, legions of angels, warrior angels.
Rev. 19:15-16
“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:” - one word from Him, the Christ, brings terrible destruction to the nations of the world.
“the winepress of the fierceness and wrath” - He will crush them like grapes in a winepress.
“on His thigh a name written” - the thigh is the strongest part of the body. His name is written where His strength is greatest.
Rev.19:17
“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;”
The angel, gathered together all the birds of the world, for a feast, to be prepared for by God.
Rev. 19:18
“That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.”
Only the unsaved are left. All of God’s people have come home. The feast for the birds, will include kings and all their subjects, and there horses. None will be spared.
Rev.19:19
“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.”
The last great war, the greatest of all wars, is about to begin.
Rev.19:20
“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”
The antichrist and his false prophet (the world system) were done away with first. They were helpless to stop their fate. They will burn forever in the "lake of fire."
Rev.19:21
“And the remnants were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
All the rest of the earth were slain, everyone. This is millions and millions.
The birds began to clean the earth for the return of Christ.
Rev.20:1-2
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.” And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,”
It only took an angel to take Satan. His power is gone, he has been defeated.
This is the coming of the age, the millennium. The thousand years is the millennium.
Rev.20:3
“And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”
Satan is cast away. The earth can no longer be deceived by him.
After 1,000 years, he will be loosed again upon the earth, for a short season.
Rev.20:4
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
The Lord's faithful, those during the great tribulation, come back with Christ. The bridegroom brings His bride, to rule over the earth for a thousand years.
The earth will be repopulated with the children of these saints. The people will still have their sin nature. There will still be death during these 1,000 years. Yet the Lord will rule with an iron rod.
Rev.20:5
“But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”
The rest of the dead are the “saved,” who gave into the antichrist. They have been in Hades for 1,000 years, in prison, for their lack of faith. They have been considered as lost. Yet, they will come back again, after 1,000 years.
Rev.20:6
“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
Those that come back with Christ are part of the first resurrection. They have died, but death had no power. They have been resurrected. They are priests, they are holy. Yet their offspring are not.
Rev.20:7-8
“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Ma’-gog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”
When the 1,000 years are up, Satan will be released from his prison, once again. So will the saved in Hades.
The earth will again have a choice to follow God or Satan. So many, (sand of the sea) choose to follow Satan. He gathers his army against God’s saints.
“Gog and Ma’- gog” - are evil territorial symbols.
Rev.20:9
“And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”
As they gathered to make war against God’s saints, at Jerusalem – God responded to protect His own, and devoured the rebels. The sinning human race is gone! What remains is God’s saint, those that would not follow Satan.
Rev.20:10
“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
The lake of fire is where you forever burn, you do not die. The beast and his prophet are there. They have been burning now for over a 1,000 years.
Rev.20:11
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”
God says: the old earth will flee away, no place shall be found for it. It will pass away. So shall heaven. Heaven and earth are all things new. They shall become as one.
Rev.20:12
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
The dead are the unsaved. This now includes, those not in the first resurrection, whose choice was still Satan.
"Their works” made them unsaved. Their "works" was themselves and not God. From their beginning, self was always the most important thing. “Their works” is really, self works, works only for themselves. God is not included.
“their works” – many teach and believe that “works” here means good deeds. Yet good deeds do not bring eternal life. “Works” here means un-repentant sin. God will and must judge sin – man's works.
Rev.20:13
“And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”
All the dead, even those in hell, come forward to be judged. “Their works,” their self works, have determined their salvation.
Rev.20:14
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”
All of those unsaved, the dead, and those in hell, were cast into the "lake of fire". For the “lake of fire” is worse than hell, it is the second death.
Rev.20:15
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
All of the unsaved, all of those who chose a life for themselves, are not found written in “the book of life.” They, from their beginning, belonged only to themselves. They did not belong to God. No amount of teaching or training would ever change that. They made their own choice, each in their own time. They decided their own fate. God has judged them. They, like Satan and his angels, have come down from above. Yet, only those that belong to God return to God.
I have made all living things, yet I have always allowed all, but Satan, his choice. For he was made for one purpose; to be the father of evil. Even from his beginning, when he wore white robes, he was the rebel. He tasted My wine, but wanted his own. So it is for all, who chose the independent life, a life apart from God. And this they had. I allowed them the independent life, a life apart from God.
Why did the angels who rebelled, and the unsaved, choose this path? Did they not know their final fate?
Only Satan knew his fate. Yet he was powerless to change it. The others did not know. They believed the lies of Satan, over My truths. They tasted My wine, but thought his was better. They wanted more than I would offer.
Cry no tears, for these, for they made the same choice as you. Their temptation was no greater than yours. You chose what you knew to be true, while they wanted more.
Rev.21:1
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
The present creation must be destroyed, for it was full of sin. The present creation must pass away first, before the birth of the new one.
Rev.21:2
“And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
Old Jerusalem, full of sin, has passed away. Now the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, is brought down from above. It is as beautiful as a new bride!
Rev.21:3
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them , and be their God.”
The tabernacle of God is with all men. No longer will man go to churches and altars made by human hands. Religion is no more, it has passed away. Gone are their priests and “holy” men. All their churches and monuments have been destroyed, even their ruble has gone. Their doctrine, has been torn from man’s heart.
Rev.21:4
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
There will be no more evil, no more sin, no more sorrow, and no more pain. God has taken it all away.
Rev.21:5-7
“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall by my son.”
God says: “It is done.” He will care for all those that are His; those from the beginning to the end.
“He that overcometh” - means all of those, in their hearts that wanted to give up sin. Those that belong to God, do not really want to sin.
Yet many today, are the worst of sinners. For they are so tangled up with lies and self; forces controlled by Satan, that it seems impossible not to sin. Some are so tangled that they don’t even know sin. Yet, deep in their hearts, they don’t want to sin, for they know it is wrong. They have a nature not to sin. These are the overcomers, those wanting to overcome sin.
It is now the new heaven. All of those outside the temple, will now be close to God.
Rev.21:8
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
All must experience the first death . Jesus died the first death. No one shall be spared, no rapture. Enoch was not spared, you will not be spared.
Yet, those unsaved will also face the second death. Those from their beginning who cited with Satan; people, angels and demons, a death with no return and no ending. Those who sold out to themselves
(sin). The world has passed away, as they have passed away.
Rev. 21:9
“And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
The “Lamb’s wife,” His bride, are all those that accepted Jesus as their Savior. The others, from the Old Testament times, are not included. They have their place with God, in the Kingdom.
Rev.21:10-11
“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;”
The New Jerusalem comes down from God. The city is light – no sun is needed, as the light God supply’s is all the light that is ever needed. It is crystal clean: no dirt, no dust, no pollution. Man does not have to maintain this city, God does.
Rev.21:12
“And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:”
The city is for more than the Bridegroom and His bride.
Rev.21:13
“On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.”
The “three gates” on each side are the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. One can only enter through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Rev.21:14
“And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”
The original twelve apostles, are the apostles of the Lamb. They are: Simon (Peter), Andrew, James (Son of Zebedde), John, Matthew, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, James (son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, Simon and Judas. (Matthew 10:2-4)
Jesus’ ministry was established with these twelve, the originals. They are forever honoured and remembered. Even Judas, is remembered, for he was chosen for his role, for although he belonged to Satan, he was born for this purpose.
Rev.21:15-17
“And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.”
The city is 1,377 miles square, with the height of 41 feet.
Rev.21:18-21
“And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyz; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eight, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.”
The city was pure and precious.
Rev.21:22
“And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it”
There is no altar nor temple, for the altar of God is in each one who lives there.
Rev.21:23
“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”
God provides all the light for He lives in the city with those that belong to Him.
Rev.21:24-27
“And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
All the saved shall bring their honour and glory to God. The gates will always be open. Night and day are as one, no sin, no sinners, only God’s people will reside there.
Rev.22:1
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
The river of living water. This river comes directly from the throne of God and the Lamb.
Rev.22:2
“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
The tree of eternal life is in the great city, yielding fruit (life) each month, abundant life.
“for the healing of the nations” - here will be no open wounds between people, no harsh words that sting, and no deeds that rip the heart.
“the nations” - are many people, not different countries.
There is now only one nation, one God. (See also Ezekiel 47:12)
Rev.22:3
“And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:”
The “curse” is man’s sin nature. Man will no longer have a sin nature.
Rev.22:4
“And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.”
Man will finally be able to see the face of God! Man is now holy and clean and worthy enough to see His face. Man, will forever belong to God.
Rev.22:5
“And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”
God will supply all that man needs. He will no longer need sleep, as his body will continually receive renewal and refreshment.
God and man, shall go on together, forever.
Rev.22:6
“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
All that has been said and written are God’s truth. Yet these words are only for the sheep (servants), not the goats. Many goats, say they understand, but it is someone else’s understanding that they have.
“shortly” - is the blink of the eye of God.
Rev.22:7
“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
When the Lord comes, it will be suddenly, without further notice. The world will be caught off guard.
Many have plans and forecast for His coming, yet they will still be surprised. Those that hold dear this prophecy, will be blessed by His coming.
Those that live their lives for themselves, will be afraid as they seek refuge in their religions and lies of the rapture. If one truly trusts God, it will not matter if there is a rapture. For ones safety and salvation is in Him, not a dream or false teaching. The great Christian hope is not, the alleged rapture, but Jesus.
I cannot share the truth of things with many, for they would rather believe lies.
Rev.22:8-9
“And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”
John is overwhelmed, at what he has seen and heard. The angel’s message, for John, and all the sheep is: WORSHIP GOD.
Rev.22:10
“And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.”
Do not keep what you have heard and seen a secret. It is time for others to know.
Rev.22:11
“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
Do not wait for man to change, share the prophecy!
Rev.22:12-13
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”
I come without warning. No man shall be unjustly treated. Each will receive his due. I am all things; whatever you see, touch or experience, I am there. I am the first word and the last.
Rev.22:14
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
Those that have lived the Lord’s commandments, have the right to eternal life, and to make their abode in the city.
Rev.22:15
“For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”
The others, have chosen their path long ago.
They are likening to “dogs” – they follow their lusts as a dog follows food.
Rev.22:16
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
The seven churches carried this message of prophecy. Jesus’ earthly roots go back to David.
He became the “morning star” for many.
Rev.22:17
“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
Even the most carnal were welcomed by the Spirit of God and Jesus’ bride, His church. If they belong to God, they have in them a thirst for the living water.
Rev.22:18-19
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
For those that change or alter this prophecy, the Lord will bring them the harshest of judgement.
Many theologians, bible scholars and religions, have altered this prophecy. Look at all the different Bibles and interpretations! Changing a word, omitting a word, adding a word changes the text, changes God’s word. Even goats have changed and taught scripture. Their part is not forgotten.
When one calls himself a Bible teacher – a teacher of God’s word, he assumes overwhelming responsibility. For the Lord has directed no one, save the Holy Spirit, to teach these things. These “teachers” of God’s word, will be harshly treated, as they have done irreparable damage to others. Yes, there has been some good fruit, but much spoiled fruit is also fed to the listeners. Oftentimes, they put their trust in this teacher. They pay for his fine clothes and cars. They build him buildings. They treat him (or her) and their family, as royalty. When one has an earthly teacher, how can the Holy Spirit teach? One's trust, goes to his earthly teacher and not God.
Rev.22:20-21
“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. A-men’. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. A-men’.”
